Livingston is considered the Sweet Potato capital in California. It’s native sandy soil makes it possible to farm our favorite super food. Mininger Foods was honored to have a booth selling our family farmed and processed sweet potato fries. Our menu featured a savory garlic fry rendition using our white sweet potato fry. We also served up a churro style sweet potato fry with cinnamon and sugar, we served this with a creamy marshmallow cream dipping sauce. Our menu was completed with a sea salt sprinkled sweet potato fry that was served with a sriracha ketchup. Merced Sun Star newspaper, credited Mininger Foods with bringing new flavors to the festival. (October 1&2)
